Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Office of Facility Planning & Operations to provide the appropriate space, facilities, infrastructure, and strategic operational planning to support the Indiana University School of Medicine's advances in health care through education, research and patient care.
MedTV Debut The Office of Facility Planning & Operations is proud to debut its MedTV display monitors. You can see these displays at the Health Information & Translational Sciences Building, Van Nuy's Medical Science Building, Daly Student Center, and Research III Building. Access to view the Real-time announcements being displayed on the monitors is available by clicking on the images of the cooresponding building display monitor located on the MedTV page. Research III The new Research III building, Joseph E. Walther Hall, located between the Cancer Research Institute and Research II building on W. Walnut Street is now open. Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute The construction of the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute will begin in June 2009. The building will be located in front of Coleman Hall on Michigan Street of the IUPUI Campus. October 1, 2008 Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute to Advance Eye Research at Indiana University Department of Opthalmology INDIANAPOLIS - The first shovels of dirt will be turned Oct. 7 for the ceremonial start of construction on the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute on the Indiana-Purdue University Indianapolis campus.

Groundbreaking Scheduled for Medical Education Building at Fort Wayne
FORT WAYNE, IN - The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Indiana University School of Medicine - Fort Wayne Medical Education Building will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the construction site near Williams Theatre on the Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne campus.

Eugene and Marilyn Glick Establish Eye Institute at IU School of Medicine
INDIANAPOLIS - Community leaders and philanthropists Eugene and Marilyn Glick are donating $30 million to establish the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
